Do you STILL have to hear the Price is Right horn to see that you lost?

Someone put that horn so he can hear it, but better yet just watch the TPIR.

I just didn't want you to miss the question if it comes up in trivia.

48-52 to convict is a bad look for any President, esp when you're 9 months from an election.

Why? The only look that one can get is that it was partisan and the Demons were stupid to push it even though it was going to fail BIGLY. Even Mitt took the safe route by voting guilty in one article and not guilty on that other. Now, if that isn't straddling the fence I don't know what is.

Face it, the Demons (and their followers) aren't very bright, and it shows bigly for even electing the Group of Four shiateheads and you know who they are. What good have these women accomplished except for badmouthing the country?

I believe if a Republican (mitt) and Indy's (angus king) voted with the democrats it's technically non-partisan and why it's historic.

It is. Its a permanent stain on the Democratic Party. The party that started one Civil War and is now trying to overthrow the legitimate government. Its also a permanent stain on the entitled taker and deplorable Romney.

RE: Forever not impeached....
Here is the BS my state Rep Deb Haaland is peddling in her latest email:

Quote:Dear Mr. CrimsonPhantom,

The "trial" of President Donald J. Trump has ended, but it's not over. More incriminating evidence comes out every day from those directly involved, including Ambassador Bolton, and more will continue to come out. Conservatives in the Senate refused witnesses for the first time in history, but they cannot undo the asterisk that will forever be next to President Trump's name due to his impeachment and subsequent bipartisan vote to find him guilty.

Amid the falsehoods put forth by the President's counsel, truly terrifying arguments of presidential power were made. Alan Dershowitz argued that a president can do whatever they wish to put his political gain ahead of our national security and we have no method of stopping them. The very same day that the President's counsel was arguing in the Senate that the Judicial Branch is in charge of compelling witnesses, the President's counsel was also in court arguing that the Judiciary has no place compelling witness testimony. The United States Senate's votes to acquit have endorsed this twisted interpretation of our Constitution.

We know what will happen next - this will embolden President Trump. The day after Special Counsel Mueller testified before Congress, President Trump made his infamous call to Ukrainian President Zelensky. Despite all of this, I still have hope. Our country found itself as a flawed democracy after throwing out the rule of one who believed they were above the law. It took us decades, but we ended slavery, we expanded suffrage throughout our history, gave women power over their own bodies, and recognized the right to marry who we love. There is backlash with every step forward we take. Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us that "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" but this is only true as long as we work for it. Tomorrow is a new day and I will wake up ready to work.

03-hissyfit 01-wingedeagle 03-hissyfit

There was then a question of whether I supported the acquittal. I responded accordingly.

And that’s if you consider Peirre Delecto a true republican and not just a TDS loser.
This was exactly what impeachment should not be. Totally partisan politics.

For you lefties.....you are right, the thread title isn’t correct........but what Eagle just posted IS exactly correct.

It is a fact that Trump was acquitted of the charges - period.

Oh yeah, the Democrats public behavior of placing party over country during last nights SOTU address will turn Independents into Donald Trump voters............gives you lefties a hollow feeling in the pit of your stomach.

RE: Forever not impeached....
Actually, there is already discussion among house leadership that if the republicans take back the house in November, they will vote to expunge the articles of impeachment, meaning he is forever acquitted and no longer impeached.

I'm not even in the top 5 for this forum's Trump haters. If you cannot acknowledge the factual inaccurary of the OP title... I can't help ya. 04-cheers

If you can’t acknowledge the fact that out of the entire congress only one republican voted for this charade but three democrats voted against it with one of those even changing party affiliation then I can’t help you.

I never said anything contrarian to that. And I have acknowledged the acquittal. So..... not sure what your point is here.

48-52 to convict is a bad look for any President, esp when you're 9 months from an election.

You can't revoke your membership in the impeached presidents club. Or as the Eagles would say, "Welcome to the Hotel Impeachment - you can check out any time you like but you can never leave".

RE: Forever not impeached....
Look, if the impeachment itself was bi-partisan you can actually brag about Trump being impeached. But. It was not. How easy is it for one group, Demoncraps, being so full of hate and being such sore losers that they put out this Shift circus and expect everyone to agree with your claims. The reason they were able to initiate this sham was because they owned the house and they knew that EVERY one of those losers would vote to impeach. For them to even think that the whole Senate which is controlled by the Republicans would go along with them just proves HOW STUPID THEY ARE. So go ahead and brag about a partisan witch hunt and give yourselves all the kudos you think you deserve. In the end YOU LOST.

Hee, hee, losers.
