Glad that the son made the choice to join UAB's program.

Well said

He was a very good player at SP. Who knows how that will translate to the college game. He is a Blazer now, so I will be rooting for him to do well.

RE: Signing Day
Nick Mullens from Spain Park and Southern Mississippi is pretty good!
Wish he was a Blazer!
I was never a UNA fan until my daughter went there. Maybe Jay Barker will be a Blazer fan!
I’ll give him another chance and hope his son is extremely happy at UAB.
Go Blazers!

I know what you are talking about. I have a grandson in prelaw at Indiana and my other grandson (Oak Mtn HS) has committed to the 2020-21 Track team at Bama to throw discus and shot.
UAB benefited in the past when Auburn only wanted Burks to play DB but he wanted to be a RB. His dad had played at Auburn, but he was at many practices and games to see his son play for the Blazers (his grandmother worked in the office at WEHS during my early years there).

We love those 6' 8" DE's, and I hope to hell we throw it to the TE more.

TE has to be utilized more we have more depth there then WR. Also if you saw Even Dudley video of position warmups TE had 8 guys cause Rajae Johnson Sanders (the highest rated recruit to sign and play at UAB ) was warming up at TE. Maybe he drops weight, but he may be a TE with Pittman,Prince, Bryant, Thomas, and McDonald.

Really hope Matthews PWO at TE with York and Knight.

Went lite at WR and OLB for a reasom
