So in our worst stretch in the last 30 years, we are 6-6 against Tulsa. Yeah you are right that is unacceptable. Like I said .500 against Tulsa will get a Memphis coach fired. Especially since before 2015, we had beaten mighty Tulsa 26 of 28.
LoL Tulsa
Lol Memphis
Most of those 26 games never happened according to the NCAA. Which just brings us back to the original point, Memphis isn't good unless they're cheating, even when they're cheating they're a weak imitation Louisville
Ok I'll give you credit the 2 DRose games. Still total domination. Tulsa has a long history of cheating. Hell, your present coach cheated at Miami and ran away to mizzou. You cheat and still suck.
lol tulsa
Looking for the info on the UCF guard they just signed and came across this
Lol Memphis Tulsa doesn't have any issues with the NCAA record books our school doesn't have violations. Its harder to get in, to stay in, and we play by the rules and produce all academic conference players while winning championships. Memphis cheats and loses to us by 40
You hired a damn fugitive. Clean lol

You guys hired Cal after what he did in New England. Shut up.

Well, well, I guess we have come to the real difference between memphis and Tulsa. Doesn't matter who Memphis hires they want them to cheat to win, which is why they have violations every decade back to the 60s, unfortunately the NCAA doesn't let them count the wins. Tulsa can hire a previous cheater and they know better than to try it.
Guess that's why they have the term institutional control. Don't worry if you're not familiar with it (who are we kidding ) you'll get a letter pretty soon from the NCAA explaining it. Couple weeks till that defense of our conference championship, couple months till you can try and avenge that 40 point ass whoopin.

Temple has added 6’2” PG Dartmouth grad transfer Brandan Barry. Deadly three-point shooter at 44. 5 percent two years ago. Will enroll and join team in mid-December when he complete’s studies at Dartmouth.

RE: Basketball Recruiting Update Thread
Tulsa signed two kids for 2021
6'4 shooting guard out of a Branson prep school, originally oklahoma kid Gavyn Elkamil
6'7 JC kid who will have three years of elgibility and Haith compares some to Rachel, Tim Dagler
Also we are still in on a 3 star 6'5 pg who decommit from penn state.
UCF is definitely stacking up some talent, I like what Dawkin's is building. If USF continues to improve that's two teams who will be tournament caliber types pushing the league up. I don't think there is much doubt Hunter can recruit so if Tulane and ECU develop this league will be stacked.

.
In addition to signing Brendan Barry (transfer guard, sharpshooter), Temple also has some additional good recruiting news, which is that it's class of 2021 is ranked #59 nationally by 24/7 and #54 nationally by Rivals.
If Barry opts to return in 2021-22, Temple will have as many as five skilled transfers on the roster - one at every position - and five sophomores who will have a year of experience under their belts. They will be joined by a returning Junior forward and three incoming recruits. In addition, it's possible that two Temple Senior forwards will opt to play an extra season under the covid-19 provisions.
With the benefit of Barry's perimeter shooting, added front court depth, and a year for the sophomores to develop, the 2021-22 Owls might have the potential to make their way into one of the post-season tournaments.

ECU lost a commit in Dre Watson, but signed a very solid 3 man class. We can be very selective for the last scholarship or 2.

I just noticed this. Would be a nice get, he has some good offers. Hopefully we go after some centers in this class as well. Not sure if Colin Smith will be back, but next years team could be really good as well with Darius Johnson and a developed CJ Walker. I'm just happy Dawkins is making us a decent program

Yeah I’d be very happy if we landed him, apparently he’s more of a developmental prospect because his offense isn’t super good yet, but has really high potential, and that’s why all these high major programs are after him.

It's going to be interesting to see how good our development is with Walker. He has all the potential in the world

Agreed, we have the talent to win the conference if everything falls into place perfectly. It’ll be interesting to see how the freshman develop as well, Adams and Reynolds.

If we want any shot at going somewhere this year they will need to play big. We have a really good starting 5 but almost no proven depth

played for team penny in aau
will be a grad transfer.. meaning he is eligible to play this season, if he picks a school with a scholarship available
was a 10pt per sharp shooter at pitt as a freshman..
redshirted, chose to play for his dad in a mid-major.. where he put up 20ts 5rbs and 4asts..his dad passed away 2 weeks ago.. he is looking to transfer
could be the major that helps turn memphis around.. or boosts houston/cincy

UCF his best offer, all his others are mid majors, but he also was getting interest from bigger programs like Kansas. Supposedly a really underrated and hard working player. From Charlotte.

UCF 2021 SG commit PJ Edwards is rated a 3 star on rivals. PG commit Darius Johnson is now a composite 4 star on 247, and moved up to the #95 player overall in the Rivals150.
