Let's look at the facts. He averaged 7.2ppg, 2.4apg on lame percentages and made 13 three pointers in 26 games meaning he doesn't even take them so how does he help our 347th ranked 3 point shooting team this year was my point.

The guy averaged 7ppg on a 5th best team in NJ as a 19 year old

you did say "waste of a scholarship" and used "trash" atleast 10 times.. but lets just say you didnt mean it and was in the heat of the moment of your rant..
who cares about stats when you are playing in the elite circuit.. yours teams are stacked and you are being defended by elite competition

look at markus howard (1st team all american in college)-- he averaged 32 a game in a regular high school as a soph, only 14pts as a junior in findley prep (a elite circuit team- which was actually good)- chose to not play as a senior (Reclassed)--did 25pts and 28pts a game these last 2 seasons

noah played with 3 OTHER TOP 50 RECRUITS, including a top 2 pick in the the 2021 draft
ive been frank from the get go, he isnt an elite guy, its obvious why his stock sank, his ability to shoot from being his size isnt good.. but i dont consider it a bad thing.. if he could shoot he wouldnt have gone to ecu.. and shooting is something you can develop.. 2 of the 3 best shooter in UH the last decade werent shooters in high school (damyean dotson and corey davis)..sampson in a presser says his solution to our poor shooting last year isnt to recruit shooter but to improve the ones we have..

whats odd is you used to give me rants about how good brandon suggs was, and once went on a rant against me for saying i thought newton was better than suggs.. you have since changed your mind, but suggs was a bench player in high school.. and suggs and newton played for AOT together, A super stacked aau team (when noah was a sophmore)..in total that team ended up with 4 5stars, and 3 other top 100 4stars...suggs was deep bench and Farrakhan was a starter on that team

You're so full of $hit and just making up complete lies left and right now like you always do which is why I despise even talking to your pathetic ass. You'll lie and misrepresent just about everything I say with no context ever. Just keep my name out of your mouth in the future so we don't even have to crosspaths.

The fact is Farrakan's high school team wasn't good last year, they barely beat Farmville Central down the road in 2A here and were an after thought #5 in NJ. I don't give a **** what 16 year olds he played with that teams wasn't anything special and you actually said they were better than a 200 ranked college team with grown men the dumbest statement I have ever read anywhere on any message board and defended that insanity.

Regardless of his HS team Farrakan couldn't do jack $hit as a freaking 19 year old high school senior the entire year either in high school. He didn't even have good percentages, wasn't like he was doing anything well when he played anyway. Hey but the savior that averaged 7 and 2 as a high school senior is on the way to save our team and star over those empty stat getters like Gardner and Newton, cause Pesik saw he was ranked 30th in his class once years ago forget the fact they get it wrong all the time and he's 300th now showing how wrong they get it. He's the definition of overrated. I actually hope you are right for once and he doesn't suck ass.

RE: Basketball Recruiting Update Thread
what tis literally wrong with you SJ...

1) you make bad claims...
2) i try to point out why your claim is bad
3) your claim ends up bad months later
4) i jokingly call you out for being wrong, you always claim you never said it and say im lying
5) i post screen shots REPOSTING YOUR EXACT POST
6) trapped in a lie you resort to calling me a loser and make some post about my post count
(every single time)

you 100% went on a rant about how ecu shouldn't have recruited noah, he was a waste of a scholarship and that ecu should have gone for a proven shooter instead.. you went on this rant to go on about how you want kids like tristen newton blah blah, or a guy who has proven his worth in college .. went on to call noah trash over and over ..
I literally even gave you an out in my last post, that it was just in the heat of the rant of wanting a shooter, and not really meaning it....you should have just taken it..

youve noted that farmville game like 50 times, ignoring that half of noah team didnt travel/play and they ONLY had 6 players (something ive noted like 8 times)..using this to judge them at full strength.. which is silly

in my very first post about noah i said he had some flaws.. but he is a great development guy, could be a star if he gets a shot by his junior senior year.. even if he doesnt he could find a niche role with his speed, athleticism and experience from already being on national championship team ..for a ecu level team was a great add

03-lmfao you gave ME an out. You're right I'll say it, someone needs to in your life. You are the one that needs an out for this message board **** seriously and to and get a life as OCD as you are about this BS. You aren't even good at it. You'll never shut up no doubt, and I am checking back out like I have for months, you should actually try it once and a while, or at least mix it up and get something else going in your life, try a different topic in life least or something and become a rounded human, but you can't so

Keep living the dream man.

Anyway I really like ECUs current 4 man class. Felton, Reyes, Mosher, and Watson. I doubt we land Breon Pass on Saturday, but if we do...

I agree that it is a pretty decent group. One thing on Breon Pass --- who knows how enthusiastic that both NC State coaches would really be for a football/basketball combo player?

I will guess that Dooley & Houston are probably much more adhering with that. I would think that it would go much smoother in Greenville for him with that as well.

On a side note, I think it is beneficial for a football program to carry the other sports that a player would mostly likely wish to also compete --- specifically baseball and track & field. Probably not that high of a %, but I do think that football programs without those two can sometimes be at a slight disadvantage?

Breon Pass has decided to exclusively play basketball. He decides tomorrow at 2pm.

considered the best shot blocker in texas last year.. averaged 14pts 11rbs and 9blks (most in texas last year)..but played in a weaker circuit.

he just transferred to montverde academy (#1 high school in he country).. how he does there or if he even plays at all will be telling (montverde already had 4 5star-ish big before he transferred)

the reports are that he has a 7'4 wingspan, which i have to believe is inflated/coachspeak or that is nuts (would be the best height/wingspan ratio in every recent combine)
extremely young for his class, will enroll at UH at 17...so there is potential he could grow some (he is 6'7-6'8 now)

Memphis staff trying to lock in basically their whole class this week. Camden on 9/30, Jordan Nesbitt 10/1 and No. 29 Josh Minott already on board.

Just missing a big, depending on what happens with Cisse.

Going to have to juggle numbers though - i only see 3 likely open spots

The Tigers are in the hunt for three star big (6-11, 220 lbs) Sam Ayomide. Among others, he has been offered by Kansas, Illinois, and LSU.

I haven't said anything negative about the recruit we just signed or really any of them in this class. They are all pretty solid in a vacuum, I just know the clock is ticking on Gardner and we have specific needs (347th ranked 3 point shooting) and an urgent timeline. A bunch of 2021 freshman probably aren't really addressing the problems like we need to to capitalize on Gardner's last dance.

We've have had these issues since spring when we got nothing really in the way of help unless you too believe a guy from the 5th ranked high school team in NJ that averaged 7ppg and 2apg and made 13 three's in 26 games as a 19 year old HS senior is going to ride and save the program like some. Count me as skeptical of that.

Don’t know how Noah will play at ECU, but believe he was starting PG as a 9th and 10th grade at St. Benedict’s Prep, in Newark, NJ, when they twice beat both Montverde Academy and Oak Hall, both national powerhouses. Shot quite well in those seasons.
