Kansas transfer and former 5 star Bryce Thompson will be announcing his college decision Thursday at Noon Central timd. His pick is between Tulsa, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma. Thompson is from Tulsa and both parents were athletes at the University of Tulsa.

Thompson committed to OSU. Sounds like he believed they were a better fit for his style of play. Says he lost sleep last night over having to tell Tulsa no. Both schools went after him hard during high school and post-KU.

he is referring to Arceneaux, who is rumored to be on houston lean, but its still early in his recruiting process

what you are saying is true ... but imagine the kind of stats you have to be putting up to be a top 100 4star in that shape

the answer is a ridiculous ton: he is considered on of the best scorers in all of Florida averaging 25+ all 3 years of HS he has played so far, lead all U15 Nike EYBL in scoring (last time eybl was run- covid/eybl is the top aau circuit).. led all scoring in the FIBA U16 Tournament (played for Israel)

if you google/twitter him its a bunch of Florida aau people saying its criminal he isnt a top 40 recruit

I just made a very surface level observation - wasn't meaning the ding the kid. His ranking is certainly reflective of his skill level and innate feel to score.

Go look up highlights of Steve Logan - two time conference USA player of the year, 1st team all american, 3rd leading scorer in UC history. He was short, fat and slow but he was so skilled and his feel was off the charts. He gave people buckets and was never at risk of leaving for the NBA no matter the numbers he put up (he ended up being the 1st pick in the 2nd round of the 2002 draft). I'm sure Sharp will be a great 4 year player for you all and maybe the throw the ball at the rim and go get the rebound will no longer be your best offensive play.

It usually takes time for an 18 year old to naturally mature physically even absent S & C.

However, some people are further along....

Wichita State's big man signee (Kenny Pohto) who was a Top 150 prospect when signed to a Big Ten team (Minnesota) magically drops 47 spots in 247s rankings after signing with Wichita State. He was the starting center on the second best HS team in the country.
