We are a second week team easily with Wiseman

I'm not so sure about that. The game (now) is guard oriented. And, we don't have the guard play. Not even close.

Excellent point.

Gonzaga's three best players are 6'11, 6'10, and 6'7.

Kansas' improvement from last year is very much because of 7'0 Azubuike being able to play the whole season.

SDSU's 2nd leading score is 6'10 240

Louisville's two best players are 6'7 and 6'10.

Dayton's best player is 6'9 (top 20 projected) Obi Toppin.

Duke's best player is 6'10 Vernon Carey.

WVU turned a dismal 2018-19 into a Elite 8 level team because they have two monsters down low. 6'9 and 6'10.

But yep, college basketball is a guards game.

You don't even need to go through all of that...

We likely only have 2 losses with Wiseman...That translates into a preferred seed close to home...First game against a double digit seed...Second game against a 5 or a 6 seed at worse. It not that hard to see us making the second weekend with that seeding.

Just going through all that to rebut the ridiculous notion that "bigs don't have an impact" in college basketball.

As usual, you either miss the point or choose to ignore it, so you can argue. I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

My POINT was that we don't have the guard play this year. Even with Wiseman, we are a top 30-40 team. Without Wiseman, we are a top 60-70 team.

I could play guard with Wiseman and Achiuwa and have us in the top 25.

But Penny still has not convinced me he knows how to use a true big (Wiseman doesn't count)...So I worry Malcolm and Stokes both may not be utilized to the max of their abilities.

I know. You never know what could happen during the year. Injuries or whatever. But it would be a sweet team!!! GTG!

I don't know why some teams almost never have a serious injury and some teams do. It's mostly during practice. What do the teams do differently that seem to go injury free or is it just blind luck??

Old school is to prioritize conditioning drills, limit freelance scrimmages & no resistance training (includes weight lifting) once the season starts.

We are a second week team easily with Wiseman, why would we not talk at least that much if we landed those two?! What difference does making the tourney this year make on next season?

He thinks that a platoon of Maurice and Thomas is almost as good as Wiseman. Good luck.

You are so stupid, that it's almost sad. There really is no point in trying to discuss anything with you.

I have NEVER said that Maurice & Thomas were almost as good as Wiseman. Yes, we'd be better WITH Wiseman. Just not CBI level to Final Four contender level, difference.

Truth is, I think you DO realize what I'm saying, you just enjoy arguing with people. It's some sort of mental disorder. You might check with a mental health care professional and explore your options on counseling and/or medication.

Ok. That's cool. I respect your opinion, although I disagree.

Note to Stammers...see, people can have opposing views with being a complete A-HOLE about it.

Just when has he had a "true" big to prove anything. Malco was hurt and missed a lot and is just now catching up to the rest of the team. Stokes isn't playing. The only bigs he is playing with are IM (good luck) LT and PA, who honestly might be better suited for a 3 than a 4. He is having to play the 4 and you can see that it isn't natural for him. LT is a mystery. He played tougher going against JW than I have seen him all year. But, is he a true big?!

I don't think a dominant scoring guard would make this team better than JW at all. You would still have all your front court problems that JW would almost instantly solve. We are #4 in the nation in block without JW, can you imagine how much better we would be with him?!

Isn't Auburn an Under Armor school? Is Green associated with them?
