His two follows before that were both W&M related, but that is a bit concerning for sure.

He has such a good thing going for himself at William & Mary, I'd hate for him to lose out on it. But it does look like he's leaning toward a move.

I think we'll give Elon an opportunity or two to enact some vengeance in 2020. It makes a lot of sense to constrict our game footprint to bus rides. Let's beat them in 6OT next time

I'd rather, next time, that we not miss 5 field goals -- any 1 of 4 of which would have prevented any overtime and 1 of which would have won it in early overtime. I also wasn't thrilled with Mathis fumbling in the last two minutes of regulation (fortunately and luckily recovered by the Tribe) and again in the first overtime on the one yard line as he was going in for a 30+ yard TD (that one not recovered by the Tribe). But I do agree that he is a talent and I hope we don't lose him to transfer. I wouldn't put him in Sportsblog's upcoming list of 5 top QBs just yet.

He did say you can take 3-11 and put them in a hat to get the order, but yeah.

I'm not seeing what they are seeing. We have a lot of good players. If O-line is solid we can be pretty lethal on offense.

Reference to Patriot league schools turning to campus late and potential impact on the Tribe's schedule.

Tip of the iceberg and illustration of the domino effect that's about to occur. P5 balloon is going to be deflated.

2020 Tribe Football
I noticed a new addition to the football staff. Rex Rover was an offensive intern under Taylor at San Diego. He now has W&M plastered all over his Twitter page. Not sure on his position/role here. My guess is an offensive quality control type position.
Not sure if it has been mentioned, much like Alex Perviance, Gunnar Frerotte is now a student assistant coach on the staff.

RE: 2020 Tribe Football
The more I read, the more I am beginning to strongly believe that, even if we actually get to Week 1 of the Football season, I doubt seriously, that we will get to Week 4, or even Week 3.
With the rapid escalation of new cases of COVID-19 in the warm weather states (Florida, Texas, Arizona) that rushed back to reopen and are now suffering these large outbreaks simply because people started feeling a bit too comfortable in places like bars and restaurants, I can only see the same thing happening in college and professional sports.
Even those of us who have been "out in the world" for quite a while can still remember what it was like to be on campus with your friends, wanting to meet up at parties, bars and restaurants. I see no way that there isn't a resurgence in cases, once the students get back on campus. 18-22 is when everyone feels invulnerable.
I think the same thing will happen, actually, in the NFL, NBA and NHL. There is no way there won't be an outbreak, in each league, once those guys have been together a while, playing games. If we get a full season in any of those sports, this year, I will be completely surprised.
At some point the leagues will be faced with so many players testing positive that they will just throw up their hands and say "Go home."
I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I will be.

Illinois east to Massachusetts have some of the biggest spikes in cases and deaths in the country.

Agree and made this point several weeks ago in the Covid thread.

My point was that the uptick is not necessarily related to "rushing to reopen."

and, yet, the three states that rushed to open are now the site of the most hot spots.
