FWIW, I'm probably canceling after the basketball tourney. Happy to see another option. Flo is the worst.

Flo just frustrates me. There's nothing else on it I care to watch, and it's the same price as the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle, which offers so much more content.

Yep. Hopefully it's a major influx of money into the CAA programs. Otherwise it is a horrendous investment into a sub par product. I'm guessing the profitability is negligible.

We've been through this, right? It's not a major influx of money, and the money they do get they pretty much just use to "buy" a few games onto CBSSN? I think that's what really galls me -- it's not just that it's a short-sighted cash grab, it's that they don't even really grab the cash. Worst of both worlds.

So that means that since the game at JMU has been postponed, and will probably be on NBC Sports Washington if it is rescheduled, and since I get Yurview in Hampton Roads, I would be paying worthless Flo Sports an additional $12.50 just to watch the game at Elon. I think not!!!

I really like that the athletic department brought on Dave Johnson as the Tribe Scribe, these are always great to read, this one is about Cole Blackman

https://tribeathletics.com/news/2021/3/1...h-w-m.aspx

Also speaks to London's recruiting abilities. I'm not always sold on his on the field decisions, but if nothing else he's a very good people person.

So what’s the ticket scenario in Williamsburg for next Saturday? I assume I can’t get tickets with the stadium capacity limits from above, but figured I’d ask.

Only students and player family.

Oh wow that’s kinda cool to let students fill out the numbers rather than ticket sales.

And I gotta say, after tuning in to your game today, the crowd seems much more vocal than usual. Good on the students!

Being complimentary won't score you a ticket next week. Good effort, though.

Hadn't seen it mentioned, but a lot of schools are now opting out of the season, including New Hampshire.

FCS rosters are generally smaller than FBS ones, so when you factor in opt outs + covid lists + injuries, some of these schools are probably struggling to field a roster with enough players to be safe.

Rhode Island shut it down as well.

There needs to some rule setting for the Fall, or I could see this trend impacting then as well.

Eliminated from the playoffs? Shut it down!

RE: 2020-2021 Tribe Football
Mathis and Emoh are again both doubtful for this week's Richmond game according to the W&M website. Also noted in same article by Johnson there are no plans to reschedule Elon or JMU games because we have injuries requiring surgery
and "better to get it done earlier".

This spring schedule was, as I've said since the first day, nothing more than an extended spring practice and, with all the injuries, not worth having at all (as other universities have discovered).

Let's hope there are no serious injuries Saturday.
