The former vice president entered the event at Clarke University in Dubuque holding the hand of Finnegan Biden, the daughter of his son Hunter.

“I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Finnegan Biden. The reason I asked Finnegan — grandfathers are always allowed to embarrass their granddaughters — that goes along with the territory,” said Biden, 77, his hand over her shoulder. “Her other grandma graduated from Clarke College in the mid-’60s and talks about it all the time.”

He then described the difference between daughters and granddaughters to the crowd as he walked around the stage before circling back to Finnegan.

“But granddaughters not only love their grandpops but they like them. And that’s the great thing. Thank you, baby,” he said before giving her a quick peck on the lips.

Thought for sure she'd be toddler-aged. This is weird. Like a teenager still breastfeeding.

Different culture around kissing. Joe didn't grow up in Europe and neither did his grand-daughter.

It's one thing if it's a toddler. A late teenager/nearly grown adult is just plain weird. A couple of my kids are still very young, and we do cheek kisses.

Sorry kissing your teenage granddaughter on the lips is just gross and improper.

There's an age that it would be ok to get a kiss from your grandpa on the lips ... maybe age 5? maybe 8 or 9 tops?

But even with young children why the need to kiss on them on the lips?
A kiss on the cheek is equally affectionate and not creepy or germy.

Joe Biden's behavior with young woman is just flat out pervy.

IDK... everytime he goes overseas he takes a Grand-daughter with him. A friend of mind jokes that he's either a Vampire and needs a bloodbag with him at all times... or he's making sure if any organs fail he's got a doner within arms reach.
