Wrestling
Wonder how George Lee feels about being left a brand new wrestling program. There were maybe 200 folks there today to watch the matches against South Dakota State. We lost all 10 matches, which I guess isn't a surprise considering it is our first season. It was my second match and I found it very boring. I guess if there was a full house, like with most sports, it would have made it a lot more fun. However, the reality is we will likely never have a full house for wrestling if we can't draw 2000 for a very good basketball team. I do expect to break 2000 next Saturday against ASU. I'm not sure by how much, but it would be disappointing if we don't draw 3000 or more.

Probably most of the crowd will be for ASU, sadly.

I doubt that. Their attendance is about as bad as ours. I think 2 home losses in a row killed whatever enthusiasm they were building. I think we'll get close to 3000 and 75% will be LR fans.

RE: Wrestling
Hey Trojans!

Want to say congrats on your first year of collegiate wrestling. I hope some of you able to make it to some of the duals. I know LR wrestling made headlines by getting in the way of warmups for those pukes at stAte, so that's actually fun. But reason I'm hear is to ask what did you think of the season (don't pay attention to wins/losses)? Do y'all like the conference you're in? Would you think it would be better for y'alls team to be in a different conference like the SoCon against teams from TN/SC/NC/VA rather than 3 teams from California, 1 from Oregon and 1 from Arizona?

RE: Wrestling
I think it is interesting being in a high-major conference, even if it did take a sort of freak situation for us to get there.
