Only 28 players were four or five stars.
I once read an explanation of the star system that 5 stars means that a player is ready to contribute to a team immediately. 4 star players are ready to contribute with some conditioning and development. And 3 star players need at least a year of conditioning and body development before they are ready to contribute. I have to think that these are similar stats with all the NFL teams

If you could've figured out WHICH 78 of those 3-star players would eventually end up in the Super bowl man, you could make a fortune!

The numbers are a little surprising, but there are a lot more 3 star or less players to glean from than the 100 4 and 5 star players that are ranked every year.

Now do the math for something relevant to college football, the CFP.

This thread is about the star system and the NFL. If you want to see how relevant it is to the CFP, I assume that you have 10 fingers and 10 toes that you can do the math yourself.
