Duke @ Cuse
Smaller than normal crowd expected this year

32,000 expected

Nosebleed seats still being sold by school at $45 each

Does Coach K scold the Cuse Students?

Does Boeheim throw his jacket?

Will the refs for once not favor Duke?

Will that hot Duke MILF show up?

Just checking the box score now and then. Cuse up early 16-10, Duke has more fouls than Cuse, if it holds it will be a first.

The only middle of the pack team to pick up a Quad 1 win this week was UVA over FSU. It's looking like we're only going to have 3 teams in the tourney this year.

Things will work out. I expect about 5 teams...which is still pathetic.

He definitely outkicked his coverage. Good for him!!

And yes .... sadly, there's lots of that going on around here. My buddy routinely gets himself locked out of his house.

Actually they aren't married. Her hubby is the Duke guy next to her. The Cuse fan was just working her.

Duke fans come out of the woodwork for Cuse games. Many live in NY and don't mind buying tickets from Cuse STH'ers looking to make bank for the Duke game.

No, coincidentally they had a followup article on the guy. He had another Duke girl next to him this time. LOL

RE: Duke @ Cuse
I'm not sure if it was reported in the Syracuse area but Duke faced some unusual problems in that game. Noland Smith, Duke's Director of Basketball Operations, didn't make the trip because his infant daughter was in intensive care back in Durham. Noland has an incredibly vibrant personality. He's someone whose absence would definitely be noticed. While Duke was doing a walk through at the Dome some hours before the game, Jon Scheyer, a Duke assistant coach, suddenly started having severe abdominal and back pain. He was taken to the ER in Syracuse and had to have an emergency appendectomy. Scheyer was the Duke assistant coach who had done the scouting report on Syracuse so his absence was also significant.

Noland's daugher is out of ICU (but there's been no announcement about why she was in the ICU) and Jon is back in Durham.

Glad to see they are all doing better now.

RE: Duke @ Cuse
My understanding is the Syracuse Hospital implanted a mini-Otto in Jon as a momento.

Seriously, good thing they caught it. The Dome is literally surrounded by three hospitals. Coach K probably could have walked over to see him

Pass on any links you have. I'll share them with the SU Board.
