I've heard Dave Johnson is leaving and Ed Miller is close. Most likely, the buyouts just starting are the last. If true, there is no one there to write about ODU. You have Teel, Norm Wood (who doesn't even live here), Rubama, David Hall, Frankenberry, O'Brien (just back to work from throat cancer) and some stringers. That may change Minium's job at ODU because if the school wants info to get out, they're going to have to do it themselves. There aren't many drops of blood left in these two papers, a national occurrence and a national disgrace. Hedge funds like Alden come in, buy papers, gut everything to up their profits then kick them to the curb. And people lose their jobs.

Not only did they not cover local schools enough, they also alienated over half their buying population by only presenting one side of many political stories and twisted facts and information to promote their agendas. You should know this by now.

They may well be better than a diluted ODU team this season, particularly at home, but personally I don't think they are as good as their overall record indicates. They have a bunch of wins against a pretty weak looking out of conference schedule and their 7 Conference wins includes 2 wins against a weak Southern Mississippi team. That being said, I expect Tech to get the win today.

La Tech’s coach sounds like a class act.
