Macomb Dakota Senior Point Guard and Toledo Commitment is having a tremendous Senior Season that has resulted in his team being 11-2 after a 22 point blow win out last night. In his last 2 games alone, Rollins Stat Line was the following:

53 Points., 15 Assists, 20 Rebounds and 6 Steals

He continues to receive positive coverage in both The Detroit Free and Detroit News with both papers calling him one of the best shooters in the State of Michigan. Kudos to the Coaching Staff for recognizing his talent early on and getting him signed in the early signing period!

Maybe I should drive the 15 miles over to Dakota to watch one of his games and report on his game. An even shorter drive for another poster here if I remember correctly...

Macomb Dakota senior guard Ryan Rollins is considered by many to be one of the contenders for this year’s Hal Schram Mr. Basketball award, and it is easy to see why. Averaging 25.5 points and close 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals, Rollins does a bit of everything on the court.

In Friday’s 66-32 blowout home win of Utica Eisenhower, Rollins did not need to fill the stat book with points. Instead, he contributed to the other important statistical categories, finishing with 10 assists, 8 rebounds and 3 steals to go with his 13 points.

Statistically, he has Payne-esque numbers which would make me very happy.
