I'm not sure that giving the ball to your best player and hoping he makes something awesome happen qualifies as a play.
If you listened to the postgame, Nate had 5 options on that play. He opted to take it as the crow flies from point B to point C. Notice how his teammates cleared out? If that wasn't a play, nothing is.

Agreed. Fischer also talked about the Loewe false cut at the start in order to clear the path for the inbounds to Nate.

Another difference was that Pusica was the PG and the guy that got the ball every time, vs. this was the only time Nate got the inbounds after a make.
