safe to say the rumor this thread created about UC were wrong? OU and Nortwestern are giant steps below UC talent wise

Fickell often talks about Dez being one of the leaders of this team. He isn't going to undermine that by bringing someone in for 1 year over him, unless its a definite win like a Jalen Hurts or Joe Burrow type (I know, Burrow would have been 2 years). Ramsey isn't that. He has been a productive Big 10 starter and, I think, he would only come here if he sees a definite opportunity to start. I don't think that exists either. If a young guy beats Dez in the spring/summer, the staff will call it what it is and Dez can continue to be a senior leader on the team.

Bolded. Productive B10 Starter. Our QB production is bottom half of the AAC. Seems to me an obvious upgrade. Des may be a leader but being a leader doesn't excuse you from producing.

Again my preference would have been to see if the solution to our QB production is internal but they decided against that. Ramsey's one year of eligibility gives you a great bridge to Prater.

Yet our starter, if he continues to start the next two years, will go down in history as the winningest QB in school history. And his name will immediately be enshrined in Nippert Stadium.

Nothing wrong with OU, but as fellow Panther smart choice IMO.

Thank you. We understand your 100% position. Some agree. CLF does not. But I'm sure you will be a man of your word.
