From down 20 to winning by 13. You won’t see that very often. When Kent plays like it did for the final 28:00, it can win this league.

Also tonight, the Zips’ at-large hopes may have evaporated with a sixth straight loss to UB.

The zips at-large hopes were non existent to begin with. It's crazy that BG hasn't lost since we opened MAC play beating them by 30. This season, like tonight, has been a very weird season. Should make for an exciting stretch run and tournament.

A team can win a lot games getting to attempt 30 free throws and making 24 of them.

EMU may be an exception, but it looks like every MAC team can beat anyone else in the MAC, and also lose to anyone else in the MAC.

Beating BG, Buffalo and Toledo on the road cancels out those three unexpected losses. So, if they beat Akron they will have concluded the first half of the season at 6-3, a not unexpected and not bad first half record but not the WAY it would have been expected. Of course, beating Akron is a big IF, but at least Akron has looked very "mortal" in three of their last four games In fact, Akron lost their last two home games, both to teams KSU beat on the road. It should be a wild and wacky next six weeks. I wouldn't even try to predict anything.

I wonder what the biggest point deficit is KSU ever overcame and won the game? I remember about 17 or 18 points at EMU about 1987. I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

I remember coming from maybe 20 down at home against Miami the night they retired the jerseys. So 2003 season. Very similar game to last night. I’ll try and look it up.
