Democrats tallk about their inevitable takeover of diversifying states with blue state migrants like Texas and Georgia.

In this article, a survey shows the new migrants were MORE conservative than Texas natives.

"...Our poll, and others before it, make a certain amount of sense. People seeking better opportunities for themselves and their families, having considered their prospects in high-tax, heavily regulated states such as California, make the logical decision to improve their chances by moving to Texas. These people, by their nature, are more likely to appreciate Texas’ hard-working culture and love of freedom...."

Yeah, sure. Ask Colorado how that turned out for them.

This article is so wrong. Just look at states like VA, NC, NV, AZ and GA trending purple. As much as we want it to be so, it ain’t.

I will never understand the people coming down here to escape high taxes then voting for people who want to raise our taxes. Baffling.

Maybe its more the fact that younger people are a much higher % minority who tend to vote Democratic. They talk about former Republican suburbs changing to blue, but you have solid red Gwinnett County outside Atlanta that was 90% white in 1990 and is less than 50% white now. Growth has all been minority.

What a ridiculous cope.

Placate the Republican base to the point where all the battleground states flip permanently blue, there’s nothing they can do and will just have to live with it. And then when progressive policies are shoved down their throats, it will be sold as the democrats having just “won the argument” and “democracy”.

The problem is the GOP is so hypercapitalist that they view every aspect of politics as a sales job and a negotiation. Hispanics aren't voting for us? We just need to encourage mass immigration and sell guac bowls to show we understand them. The young aren't voting for us? Let's roll out Charlie Kirk and his merry band of tokens and drag queens to peddle "Socialism Sucks" T-shirts. Blacks aren't voting for us? Dust off the tired platitudes about the Democratic plantation and try to get Candace Owens to astroturf some BS about "Blaxit." There's no real grand strategy or ambition for them beyond less handouts and higher stock prices.

I tend to agree, especially regarding to willful ignorance of capitalism problems. But the candidate they didn't want has provided a strategy if they are willing to follow his example:

1. Get everyone working
2. Maximize and/or protect America jobs
3. Ensure economic mobility and/or improve wages
4. Lower prices of goods/services

Just worry about getting everyone outside of the 1% paid.
