They gave up 26 to Tulane in 1st, 28 in 2nd. 1/18
Tulsa gave up 30 to ECU in 1st half, 19 in 2nd. 1/15

They gave up 37/24 to Houston 1/11
26 / 49 to Cincy 1/8 in a a loss

We scored 2 fewer than EC-freakin-U in a HALF!!!!!!!!!!

Granted, before the Cincy game, they held Temple to 17 in the 1st half, but still . . .

It's one of those burn the tape games. My money is that it is not at all indicative of what happens going forward. An anomaly, the sooner forgotten the better.

So, Memphis has a really bad game

Ok

Maybe our kids will have a really good game today and then new threads can be started indicating that, even while some will cling to the transitive property for bad results

2nd largest margin of defeat for Tigers in 70 years. The only one larger was Orlando's 41 point loss at #11 SMU his first year. With a team with far less talent and playing at a top 15 team during Senior night.

Yup, I agree. Just an awful game but it is a new a game day. Time to put Tulsa behind us and simply move forward. I fully expect Penny and the players to come out with an absolute vengeance today.

Hubie Brown says it all the time during the season, there are probably three or four games that you walk away, accept what happened and move on to the next game. You just have a bad game that you can't explain or even a good game you can't explain with guys hitting shots they don't normally hit.
