Change needs to happen sooner rather than later!
I think we can all agree our basketball program is in complete meltdown mode. Who's to blame the most? The staff? The AD? The whole Athletic Department? The conference? I feel this weird football vs basketball fight in our athletic dep. Our fanbase needs to get United. Changes need to come to Bartow very soon. No reason for our top program to continue to stoop to this level.

Might I inquire as to whether or not you attended the game?

It is isn’t our top program. It founded our athletic department. Changes have to be made.

I agree and have voiced my opinion to Ingram. If you really want change, I'd suggest sending him an email - he usually will send a real response.

I am so tired of the shut up and show up fools who continue to defend bad basketball! I am so tired of the fools who continue to defend the terrible job Robert Ehsan is doing! IF YOU CARE ABOUT UAB BASKETBALL, YOU WANT WHAT IS BEST FOR THE PROGRAM AND THE PLAYERS! EHSAN IS NOT IT! If you continue to question posters about whether they attended a game instead of questioning the direction of the basketball program or if you continue to make excuses for bad coaching, I question your motives and if you truly want the program to succeed. As someone posted on an earlier thread, "We should be winning this conference year in and year out." Conference USA is a bad league and UAB is currently one of it's worst basketball programs. The players, the fans, the city, the students, everyone who cares about UAB deserves better.

If we were playing good basketball I would have no problem coming to the ham and supporting as much as I can. Even if it mean leaving work early and driving an 1hr. But why make the effort if the team (coaches more than the players) aren't returning the favor. Winning fixes everything heck even if we are loosing and the team is playing at their full pontential id be good with it! But its just boring, lazy, basketball

wanting fans to support the team does not mean you do not want a coaching change

This. Taking nothing away from basketball, sincerely, but football has taken us to a place we couldn’t have reached. Just in the recent case, CUSA was more than prepared to revoke our membership without football. Where do we end up? This applies all the way back to the time the football program went 1-A. Look around and tell me what conference, here in the south, we would play in without football.

But this does confirm that changes have to be made pronto. AAC is interested in our program, especially with the recent positive publicity and new stadium. But we don’t need anything to give them pause. If basketball is back to even 80% of what it was that just eliminates a hurdle.

Does anyone know if Ingram has a history of, or is the kind of AD, a midseason firing? It would at least show that our leadership will not tolerate basketball tanking this bad. I wish he would go ahead and relieve Shoop of baseball duties as well. He is a very religious, moral man teaching our young men how to live life that way, but we have just been putrid for too long.

(And I swear to god if BAMABLAZER jumps in to mention college tuition paid by lottery in other states I will commit hara kiri)

Some of you are more interested in the blood than the program which is obvious.

Very few coaching changes are made during the season. Only time it really happens is when a coach breaks rules, gets a DIU etc. which Ehsan certainly has not done.

Matter of fact, he has done a sensational job of representing the program when many of you didn't deserve it.

That last rung on the ladder is next. When you grab for it don't be surprised that you fall off of it when that doesn't work either.

Robert Ehsan is destroying our beloved basketball program. How can you be ok with that? I know you've been a fan for a long time and that you love this program. That's why I don't understand your defense of the indefensible. If you love this program, you have to see that a change MUST be made and the sooner the better.

The Southern Conference, which looks a hell of a lot better than whatever version of CUSA we are in.

It is quite a stretch to call this backing the coach. Nothing he wrote is untrue, and nothing he wrote indicates he is satisfied with the results on the court.

Current KenPom Team Ratings: C-USA 13th, Southern Conference 14th

Not a stretch at all. He's been Ehsan's main defender on BT for some time. I don't get it.
