La Tech was a great game for some of you to attend, but nope. couldn't do it. It would show support for Ehsan.

North Texas would be another good game.

You can still attend the games, cheer for us to win, and hope the players do well while recognizing that a change desperately needs to be made. I'm a season ticket holder and have been/will be attending every game and will also be making the trip to Frisco for the conference tournament. But that doesn't mean I can't also hope we have a different coach next year.

This is Ehsan's 4th year and it's painfully obvious he isn't getting it done.

I know. I have seen you at the games. Thanks for supporting the program in spite of what you think about Ehsan.

Wish others would at least do the same.

You can support the program monetarily without attending games. I don't fault anyone for not wanting to spend a lot of time watching the poor product on the floor currently. If the awful attendance is a wake up call to the AD that something needs to be done, I'm glad more people aren't attending. I would go to more games if I lived in town.

Who wouldn't want to hear what Cajun has to say right now?

I saw him get presented an award at halftime as one of the big time contributors to athletics.

Probably one of the games some of you decided to stay home from.

Next week we have 3 straight home games against Rice, North Texas, and MTSU.

Could use some victories to solidify a POD 2 finish and have an outside shot at POD 1 if we sweep them all.

Hire Murray
He is ready and I think he can bring us back

Be sure if you ever are in town not to go to the games because that would be showing support for Ehsan & we can't have that.

We need the program to totally tank so that Ingram will be forced to make a change.

Thanks for your input.

I'm sure Murry Bartow would be flattered.

Make sure you toss all of the assistants' stuff out quickly as well.
Also need to tell all of our current players that they should look elsewhere.
We need to clean house for our great new basketball coach who will restore us to greatness.

I’ve stayed many times that I would attend games if there was a product worth watching. It’s a 90 minute drive for me both ways, and I’m not planning on making that to watch UAB lose to five win teams.

I attended every home football game except the opener this year and would do the same for basketball if they put even a halfway decent product on the court. Call me whatever you want, but I’m sure I’m not the only person in this same situation right now.

No way could you hire anyone losing that much money therefore Ehsan was the safe choice.

Fast forward a few years - attendance is even worse (thanks fans) and you can't even pay to get decent teams to come to town.

Who really would want the job now? (thanks fans or lack thereof)

Nate Oats was hired at Buffalo in 2015 for $250,000 a year. The man turned Buffalo into an elite mid major. It didn't take him over 4 years to accomplish this, and he took over a team in a very similar situation to the UAB team Ehsan took over. A good coach finds ways to win, and can do so quickly. He also plays an exciting brand of basketball that people will pay to see.

I refuse to believe that this is the best UAB can be, and I refuse to believe that money is a driving factor, because there are many more coaches just like Oats who have turned around lesser programs with lower pay than what UAB can offer.

The issue with money is the buyout not the salary

If that buyout holds us up from getting rid of a coach we might as well just scrap the program.

I don’t think many cared about Davis assistants stuff

Hell it could be a blessing if they leave looking at past transfers, but they will survive and join about 700 more kids leaving school

Yes, eshan wont get us there. The two greatest sports achievements of the whole athletics department is a sweet sixteen birth and the crown that is an elite eight appearance. Any video of that elite eight run around somewhere?

Well, we beat WKU who was at the top of the league at the time.

Did you show up for that or should we have given you warning that we were going to win the game?

Do you have some type ESPN where you know which games we will win and lose?

& no I wouldn't travel 90 miles for just any game either.

I recall that some wanted one of his assistants considered for the open spot.

I'm enjoying this ignore list feature.

At the time of the last hiring, we had just flopped in the conference tournament which was held at home and were forced to settle for an NIT bid. Well, we got slaughtered in that game as well.

Haase saw how we only were a 1 bid league & left.

That NBA guy interviewed for the job and Scarbinsky might have been pushing us to hire Person at the time.

We settled for our best option at the time.

Let's settle no more. Let's go out and get our $2 million coach this time.

What's going on with you?

Some of us like to tell the truth instead of bullcrapping it to fit our agenda.

I'm totally lost.
