We REALLY need to prosecute people on this.

They say there are 3 theories of punishment for crimes-Retribution, Deterrence and Rehabilitation.

I'm a firm believer in deterrence. If you throw some people in jail for this, the next person will think twice before crossing the line.
For the treasonous deep staters, a little retribution would be good too. But you let them get away with this, there is no deterrence.
