Just checked Ticketmaster and looks like attendance might be the same as a regular mens basketball game.

I think I heard a while back that Dekalb was the first official game site of the Globetrotters when they first started. Is that possible?

RE: Globetrotters at Convo
According to https://www.history.com/this-day-in-hist...irst-game, the Globetrotters played their first game in Hinckley.

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinckley,_Illinois "On January 7, 1927, the Harlem Globetrotters played their first road game in Hinckley before a crowd of 300.

According to https://web.archive.org/web/201011281428.../timeline/ .... (Founder Abe) "Saperstein's team makes its road debut on January 7 in Hinckley, Illinois, before a crowd of 300. The total payout for the game was $75. The team wore uniforms with NEW YORK on them, no doubt in giving the crowd the impression they were from that city. Saperstein would later add his family name to the jersey thereafter, "Saperstein's New York Globetrotters." The Globetrotters traveled to their road games packed into Saperstein's Model "T" Ford.

They were not called the "Harlem Globetrotters" until later.

Actually Hinckley south of DeKalb was the location.
