Rokkanen made some clutch plays, but she was overmatched a bit defensively. I actually thought Lockett was a bit better match-up on Hempfling because it is harder to lob over Lockett due to her jumping ability. I wonder if Morgan-Elliot's limited minutes were due to match-up issues or the lingering injury. I love seeing Santucci and Wiard on the court at the same time. I couldn't believe Santucci was on the bench in overtime after she completely rescued us at the end of regulation. I give the Rockets credit for managing a three-point halftime lead despite absolutely atrocious shooting.

Morgan-Elliott limped to the locker room after a scramble for the ball. Not sure if she came back to the bench or not, but never returned to the game, so I assume the injury or re-injury kept her out.

She returned but was limping AND icing her hand. Cullop seemed to think both she and Black would be back for the CMU game.

RE: UT-BUGS Thread
What has happened to Morgan McMillan of BGSU? She started last season's freshman year averaging nearly 20 pots/game in the preseason. She ran into stiff defensive pressure in the MAC but still ended the season ~14 pts/game. She is on the bench now and apparently not injured. BGSU stats show her playing in nearly every game but getting minimal minutes. I think she had about a minute or two in the second quarter today. And she is averaging something like 3 points/game. Guess we can't just assume that freshmen who start their careers on a high note are going to continue to develop over time.

In the presser coach said Black did suffer a concussion in the Akron game.

I love Lockett's defensive. She's fairly quick, decent height, and a great leaper.

Several times she tipped a ball or dove for one and fell on the East side of the court and got to her defensive assignment on the WEST side of the court before the BG player could get to mid-court. Davis showed some serious D quickness as well. Her problem is poor decision making but excellent athleticism!

RE: UT-BUGS Thread
The freshman Lockett had a huge game. Lots of freshmen getting significant PT. Wiard is coming along nicely. She has to keep staying aggressive with the ball. Unfortunately on defense, BG had it way too easy in the paint this afternoon. That #35 is only a sophomore. Exciting win nonetheless.

RE: UT-BUGS Thread
I saw on Sunday that one of the MBB teams that had the current longest consecutive streak of games with a 3 point field goal ended. They shot 0-20 on 3 point FG's, The NCAA record for most 3pt shots taken without a made FG is 24. Nearly tied the record for misses in a game at the same time they ended the current/active record for consecutive games with a 3 pointer. Just thought of that as I was reading through the thread and saw all the missed 3 pointers being cited.
