The gods still owe us. We are an endless source of clicks that praise them.

Everything we accomplished this season might have never happened had that kick gone through the uprights. No Gameday, No AAC Championship, No Cotton Bowl. The Footballs gods were smiling on us this year.

Don't forget just 3 weeks prior to that missed FG, two Tulsa kickers botched kicks that would have beaten SMU. Had 24th ranked SMU lost they would have fallen to 5-1 and out of the Top 25 -- and out of favor with the media.

Quote:4th & 3 at SMU 27
(7:31 - 3rd) Jacob Rainey 44 yd FG MISSED

4th & 11 at SMU 26
(2OT) Jacob Rainey 43 yd FG MISSED

4th & 9 at SMU 24
(3OT) Zack Long 42 Yard Field Goal Missed

Instead SMU was 6-0 and moved to 19th against Temple.

After Temple they were 7-0 and ranked 16th heading to Houston.

After beating Houston they were 8-0 and ranked 15th when they came to Memphis.

The Gods owed us after Temple.

The list is much longer than just the Temple game.

Do we still have our coach if he makes that?

I say this season was worth losing our coach...

Odd that this one's not until next Wednesday.

Tulsa has that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing going. Beat Temple at Home by 26. Beat Houston at home by 2. Lost to Arkansas State by 3 at home. Lost to Cincy on the road by 31.

That's college bb this year apparently.

Totally agree.
