Rooting for Jimmie Ward
Jimmie Ward is one 1 W away from being
in the Super Bowl! What a comeback story from a fellow Huskie. He’s had a great year after all these seasons plagued with injuries. And they’re playing the Packers04-rock03-nutkick

RE: Rooting for Jimmie Ward
Pro Football Focus has him graded out as one of the best safeties in the league this year. Significantly better than Eddie Jackson. I'm guessing he'll need another year of performance like that before he gets a big contract, but if he does that, he should get a good contract.

Also, why do the Bears suck so much at evaluating talent...Eddie Jackson is good but he's not highest paid safety in the league good.

Outside of Wolfe the Bears passed on several Huskies that went on the excel in the NFL...Diem, Free, Turner, etc
They also did not go after Garapalo from EIU.. I doubt if they had anyone at the game here to see him play. He showed a lot against us.

Jimmie showed what he can do this year now that he was finally healthy. He played in the most games since 2015. The afternoon guys on the Score were talking to someone from San Francisco about signing Ward to come to the Bears and the response from the gentleman from San Francisco was "Keep your hands off of our Jimmie!"

It would be sweet if the 49ers beat the Packers tomorrow and sweeter still if Ward excels in the game. I loved seeing him play at NIU especially on those occasions that I had the opportunity to see him live. I will never forget attending the Purdue game and seeing his pick 6.

How the bears missed out on Kenny Galladay is beyond me. Anyone with eyes and a brain could see he was going to do big things at the next level. Right in their backyard too.

Well done Jimmie Ward! Superbowl!
Am guessing that it may have been a bitter sweet moment for the Racine Wisconsin born NIU football player beating his childhood favorite team ,"the Packers."

Hopefully at-least One our Wisconsin recruits from last year will shine as brightly as Jimmy Ward.

This is a awesome. There hasn’t been a Huskie winning a Super Bowl since Ryan Diem with the Colts. Big stage for Jimmie!

A very nice matchup for Jimmie on the big stage. He is certain to get a lot of air time. Hoping for a big interception or a huge forced fumble on Super Bowl Sunday. He will be tested by the speed of the Chiefs receivers downfield.

Let's go Jimmie!! He was a fantastic NIU player - I loved his style of play. Hard-nosed, tough, physical player!!!

Go Huskies! Go Niners and go Jimmie!!

Looking forward to seeing Jimmie introduce himself. Think he'll say: Jimmie Ward, THE Northern Illinois University? 04-cheers

Remember folks. In DeKalb Jimmie Ward has the same middle name as Bucky Dent.

It's pretty aggravating. They don't draft ANYBODY that's good.
