According to the women's Twitter account Swayze is starting in place of Erica.

She's not dressed in uniform so she's obviously not playing tonight.

Updated construction news...the fence around the new social sciences building has been taken down.

We better play pretty solid D because this has the makings of a 45-45 game with Erica out (we'll probably score 70 somehow)

The School of Social Sciences departments (all but Sports Management and Religion) have moved in, and classes are already being held there. The grand opening and dedication ceremony will be on February 27th, followed on the 28th by the 40th Anniversary celebration for the School of Social Sciences.

Very solid 1Q, especially with no Erica. Interestingly, the two that picked up the rebounding slack have been Wiggins and Smith; not Schwartz and Mulkey.

She's taken just one shot in 15 minutes, but now up to 7 boards and 3 blocks. 28-15. Jackson with the hot hand right now (4-5 FG), but we've gone cold the past several minutes.

Schwartz quickly picks up her 3rd personal. They're trying to feed Nancy this quarter, but she's missing. However, her best game rebounding, by far.

Our turnovers are keeping LaTech within striking distance. 20 TOs through 3 quarters in unacceptable, although somewhat understandable with Erica out. Swayze hasn't hit a bucket since early 1Q, is now 2-8 in 28 minutes, with only 2 boards and 0 assists. However, the Freshman duo of Austin and Jackson are 7-10 from the field. Smith not scoring (as usual), but 7 boards and 6 assists. Nancy up to 12 rebounds, but only 5 points and the same 3 blocks she had earl 2Q.
Defense hold LaTech to 27% shooting. Again, if not for the 20 - 8 turnover differential, this would be a blowout.

46 - 32 at 7:30 media timeout.

51-35 with 5 mins left.

Our offense is hopeless with ERica and Schwartz off the court. You'd think Smith and Wiggins would try to be more aggressive going to the basket in that situation, but neither has taken a shot this quarter.

53 - 40 with 3:34 to play. Defense is giving up points with all the subs now in.

If it gets any closer I'd put Schwartz back in. Swayze has been the biggest disappointment this game. She's played more minutes than anyone, and has hardly contributed in any area.
