Multiple players basically sexually assaulted a teammate on multiple of occasions.

University and the Univ Police Dept basically said it was "boys will be boys" and nothing really happened so this player is now seeing the Head Coach James Franklin and the University.

That they used Sandusky as a verb should make everybody run screaming from that place.

Maybe I'm naive, but I've never heard anything like this. I played high school football, and the hazing we had (and gave) was effectively harmless (forcing the players coming up from jv to use the worst lockers and to clean the weight room). I never joined a fraternity, but the friends of mine who did described their hazings as only slightly more egregious (mostly around drinking, but nothing like the "butt chugging" incident).

Then you hear about this stuff, along with the high school in New Jersey where they were raping freshman boys. What in the everloving fu(k?!?!?!?

By the way, this isn't just an "OK Boomer" thing, either. My son played high school football, and he's just as stunned about all of this.

Unfortunately the NCAA doesn't have the BALLS to punish a Penn State... The NCAA should be as guilty as any accuser for not taking substantial action against Penn State during the Sandusky case, if any University deserved the "Death Penalty" it was Penn State... No BALLS by NCAA

Absolutely, positively correct! Made SMU's case look like choir boys.

I'll always believe that Penn State attempted to cover up the Sandusky scandal from the top of the university on down - all for the sake of their football money and to prevent the sacred name of Paterno from being tarnished. I still refuse to watch them on tv.

If you are one of a select group of universities, you can do whatever you want and the NCAA will do nothing to you.
