Turned down the same positions at Texas and Arkansas for Miami? Ok.

Good dude and he will be missed.

He gone.

And it's nice having coaches hired away for once, but Miami is still perplexing me.

He probably couldn't resist all those young scantily clad dressed young women on the beach.

True. Might have to take it a step further and ask for a birth certificate.

He liked South Florida so much that he did not want to leave.

If Taggart flames out at FAU and he does well at UM, the U-Haul truck would not have to go far.

1) While SMU people know Lashlee ran his offense, he needed to run “the show” under a defensive minded head coach (-> Diaz) to prove he was the mind. Outside people were suspicious of his resume.

2) Arkansas is now the UConn of the SEC. 4 year rebuild. Bad Job.

3) He was probably plan C (at best) because of the first issue.

If you follow @billyembody, you’ll see that the SMU job is going to be popular. Great talent next year and a proven Senior QB. Lots of resumes coming in.

If UT was a choice. I agree. Was he a Florida recruiting Guru?

I do not get it then. But it is Miami. Better be a dam good recruiter, coach, or both.

I have to edit. to recruit in UM can't be that hard. Better be a GREAT OC coach.

I have lived in Florida and Texas, and the women are pretty hot in both states.

Prefer Texas women and their toughness

I wasn't suggesting to check for a bulge in his pants. I was suggesting to check for a bulge in the Miami local women's pants.

SMU got a good coach. Riley is going to continue SMU's potent offense.
