I wasnt blindsided.. i have been saying from the beginning, he was gone. There is no way he was going to quit on the team (after playing 4 games) and was going to come back to lead this team again next year. It wouldve been a big failure, team wouldnt have responded to him, he lost the team when he quit. All that talk from him few months ago was to save face. Now we can move on.. hope we can find a decent grad transfer QB.

Looks like King's daddy is a minor league Lavar Ball.

"Now that King has decided to leave, GoCoogs can reveal information we’ve known since that time: the “plan” to redshirt King did not originate with Dana Holgorsen nor was it first discussed on the day after the Tulane game. The plan originated with Eric King himself."

RE: It looks like it's official...
They just did about a ten minute segment on Las Vegas sports radio about how the city of Houston is getting their balls kicked in the last couple of days. Mostly revolved around the Holgersen/King drama. The radio guy is a big Fertitta fan and he was about to cry over it. I was in my car wishing I could of recorded it. It was beautiful.

The segment is called "5 at 5" where they do a countdown of the 5 best sport stories of the day at 5:00 (my drive home every night). I think UH came in at #3. Damn, I wish I could of recorded it.

Looks like I was right and Pesik was wrong.

he quit yesterday...he didnt quit 4 months ago...
already confirmed that as early as last week holgs was of the belief king was staying

a change of plans doesnt change what it was 4months ago

Pesik wrong again? I am shocked, I tell you. Bwahahahahahab

facts says pesik was right....pesik never said saying he was 100% saying..pesik just said he wasnt guaranteed to leave...there are atleast 30 pieces of evidence saying otherwise

if you say fickeel likes Cincinnati (which cincy fans say often) and he wont leave so easily..and a job comes open and he leaves...that doesnt mean he didnt like cincy and he left easily

rt our interaction are disturbing.....it borderline bothers me...its almost obsessive ...thow in a random sports comment or something every now and then, not kidding, from all our interacting you look obsessed with me

Nothing to see here

@Joseph_Duarte
Sources: #Miami has contacted Houston quarterback D'Eriq King, who announced Monday he will enter the transfer portal. Arkansas is regarded as the front-runner but King has not ruled out other schools.

With the openings that exist in schools that have a legitimate chance of competing for the CFP, I don't get this at all...

How late can he decide and still be able to enroll in Spring classes. I’d have to think the enrollment deadline is looming most everywhere and may have already passed at some schools.

One can only accept a scholarship IF its offered. Obviously, many teams did not offer him a spot.

(Or...was Miami's "bag" slightly empty and he wasn't satisfied with their offer...so now seeking last minute offers from others).

King had difficulties identifying Holgorsen's style offense... My guess he's in serch for the easiest playbook to absorb.
