MyBB Great shot by Tyler.
One of the most promising plays for me last night was a shot by Tyler Harris. He passed on the three, drove to the basket and then pulled up from 10 to 12 feet and made an easy stroke for 2.

Making 3’s are huge, but I think sometimes our guards will do better by just driving it in for the simple 10 foot shot! If they get in the paint, then it sometimes tough with tall defenders guarding the rim.

It’s the old stop and pop vantage.

Just a gesture from a person who played in chuck taylor high tops.

I loved that play, he had a contested three, stepped up and drained the open jumper. The mid-range shot in grossly under-utitlized in basketball today.

My favorite play of Tyler's was towards the end of the game when he popped up off the floor and launched himself to block a shot . epic.

He's really quite amazing.

He really seems to have bought in to the team concept. Last year was questionable at times. But he plays all out on defense and give tremendous effort like on that play consistently now, even in a game where he only took 5 shots and only made one.

Analytics, three or layup... It drives me crazy to see small guards over penetrate and shoot wild contested layups instead popping the mid range shot or shooting a nice little floater, which is something else Tyler has developed this year.

yes...the team concept is strong in that one. He's a true force out there on the court.

And speaking of courts....That blue woodgrain with the Tiger logo and the stripes is the best looking court in BB.

Agree! The 12-15 foot jumper is a lost art in today's college basketball game which makes it look so sweet when players do hit them.

Tyler’s overall play is greatly improved.

His Defense is not hurting us & his ball handling is better.

Just the threat of his outside shot draws a defender & opens up the inside more for others.

Better decision making also.

He’s earned more playing time.

This. I wanna see more dudes taking other dude's heads off when there's gonna be a foul either way.

Make the foul count, and send a message at the same time.

Our school bought the boy's team new Chuck Taylors and told us only wear them for game night. I wore mine the next day and got a paddling from the teacher I hated lol.

Yep...That is what they are being taught...

But this aint the NBA...Take the shots you can make, these kids aren't as skilled as NBA guys.
