I take it Memphis is right where sportswriters believe we belong (minus JW).

Thank God basketball is still a sport that allows us to show our worth on the court. We have a solid group of players. We have a solid coaching staff, Lace 'em up. Let's go!

I for sure thought we would drop, but then remembered how many ranked teams lost this week to unranked teams ... whereas, we lost on the road to a ranked team.

The beauty of college basketball is that polls don't matter. The NCAA tournament settles the entire thing. Of course, recognition in the polls is good for the fans egos, but that's all it's worth.

I'm really surprised by this, pleasantly. But I think this is a more accurate reflection of where we really are this year. Road wins count no matter how badly we played for a full half I reckon.

They wouldn't beat Gonzaga now

One loss for us we drop 12 spots, 5 losses for them they are still rated higher

Lots of rankings hard to figure.

Seton Hall beats two unranked teams; Xavier and Marquette and moves up 8 spots. Ohio State loses twice (and 4 straight) to a ranked team and an unranked team and drops 10 spots.
