lol Some of y'all remind me of X's who try to contact their former flames years after the relationship blew up. This is just from my perspective...but the guys tend to remember the good stuff while girls tend to remember why it didn't work.

But hey....It's great to see our former players doing well. I really liked Antwann's potential.

Yeah, I don't know about the stuff. I know there were issues, but never heard any specifics. From a talent standpoint, I hated to see him go.

But to be clear, he's sitting out this year and is not playing for the ranked team.

The size will eventual catch up with us , but it has been a surprise so far.

Not enough action on the hawgs board? Now that I think about it, probably not.

He will go back and tell them how mean we were to him. So there's that to talk about.

They look damn good. Got two 7+footers coming in next year so that takes care of size. I'd love to see us resume that rivalry.

And to think.... penny chased this guy away but not Maurice and Jayden.

Are you stupid or just trying to stir the pot with every post?

Tell me that Jayden and Maurice are better than Antwann. I highly doubt if Jayden ant Maurice transferred they wouldn’t even get a sniff at Creighton.

Jayden is his son and gets 4-5 minutes a game. His presence is in NO way related to Jones leaving. And Maurice obviously does not play the same position so again, in no way related to AJ leaving.

We needed scholarships...

'Twan was pushed out...I think it was best for all involved though.

I dunno.

If he was pushed out, then he should be playing this year rather than having to sit.

I always thought it was a matter of him realizing his minutes were not going to be huge, so he moved on.

Tigers win and drop out of "also receiving votes"..

Eye-test matters. Gotta shore up the turnover issue. Need to see #8 turnovers or less rather than #24.

The "eye-test" is BS. It just gives voters wiggle room to make rankings look the way they think they should look. Problem is: No one believes we're a top25 team without JW and DJ.

It doesn't help when Clarke Kellogg says we look like a high school team on CBS

Whatever...

The 1 guy who voted for us last week should have been in Parish' poll attacks.

We shouldn't have gotten a single vote last week.

Probably need to win 4-6 more in a row to sneak back in to the top 25.

He was right.

It's a sound bite. Some of the passes did look like HS. But the D and the shooting were not HS level.

Exactly. There is no D in highschool...which is what Penny and the other coaches have been stressing. Even Bilas, who attended a Tiger practice, was impressed with the complicated D that Penny was teaching our players.

Hey... If some of you don't have the patience, that's one thing. Just please don't be so ready to accept and cave to all criticism thrown our way...then run with it. smh lol

I do not understand the black or white, all or nothing, approach. It can have both good and bad qualities. We can play phenomenal defense but still be really sloppy on offense.

Our players make high school level mistakes routinely in regards to ball handling and passing and shot selection. And that is what Clark was referring to in that moment. It really was the 4th or 5th pass we lobbed down court that was stolen and those passes and ball care were what he was calling high schoolish, not the overall play of the team.

When did burying your head in the sand become a requirement for team support? If anything, pointing out obvious deficiencies is a positive. It means we have obvious areas of improvement and growth to become better.

We overdribble on nearly ever possession. This alone leads to many turnovers.

Why don't you get a street corner with a sign and a megahorn. The obvious hasn't been pointed out nearly enough.

And o yeah....who should we harp-on now that Lance Thomas has thrown down the gauntlet.

o never mind.
