Jonas certainly gets in there and does the dirty work Marc tended to avoid. There were more than a few Toronto fans that were upset they traded him. In the end it certainly worked out for Gasol and I’m glad for that. It absolutely worked out for us and I’m thrilled. Classic win win.

In 28mpg, Gasol is averaging 6.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game

Shooting 36% from the floor and his PER is 10.

He is godawful this year.

Jonas is perfect for this team. We need a bully and we have got one.

I think this is it. Look, Toronto doesn't win a chip last year without Marc. Getting him sent a message throughout the locker room that it was a win now team, and they did. And that is enough for Toronto to feel its worth it.

And we got a great offensive piece in return.

He is better-- today-- than an aging Marc, duh. But we should be able to appreciate that we had the best years of both players-- the DPOY Marc and the lumberjack assasin Jonas.
