What an interesting read! Appears to be a very good hire! Time will obviously tell. Hope he can inject some passion into the Rockets!
At least they'll have a go-to English tutor!!

This guy sounds too good to be true. I have a feeling the players are going to flock to him for leadership and inspiration. I also hope he motivates players to expand their depth as students by encouraging them to read more. I know it did for me. I used to read a lot and not much in recent years. There are so many good books I have never read. Time to get started.

One of my favorites, Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning".

I hope the new coach opens up the battle for the QB position. I wasn't too impressed with Bradley as a QB. He throws the ball too hard and didn't appear to be a good runner. Watching the LSU Clemson game both QBs were not only good passers but both were very mobile. I go way back and we always did well when our QB could run. I think Finn might be a good mix between passing and running and I hope they haven't given up on Wilkinson. From what I've read, OSU pretty much gave up on Burrow and I guess they regret it now!

Burrow probably wasn't the best fit for the OSU offense and was smart to leave. Too many kids get caught up going to a school they have loved since they were young and don't always pick the school that best fits there skill set. Sadly, there is probably a lot of wasted potential sitting on the bench at schools like OSU, LSU, BAMA etc... More than likely if he had stayed, he would have been second string to Feilds and not even drafted.

Happy to see this article...as I mentioned in another thread, he is a really interesting guy. Not your typical football coach. He truly cares for his players...it’s not lip service.

Sounds like a great mind, and overall a complete person. I like the hires that have been made. I am looking forward to the impact in the Fall. Should be noticeable. Toledo has the talent. I am hoping February 5th has some more nice recruit surprises.

Maybe we can land a guy named Terrance Swanson as a preferred walk-on and find some other duties he can handle for the team...
