Wichita State is the only team playing well. They are @UConn tomorrow, only their 2nd road game of the year.

Tulsa slowed Houston down with some wicked zone defense.

Really, they have played almost every game at home or a true neutral site. ( But I'm a believer in them )

Right now, there are 3, with Houston looking like an 8-9. A couple of more bad losses and they’ll be on the outside looking in.

Last year the conference won a few good games OOC, and we had 3 in and Temple in the first 4. If the tournament started today only us and Wichita State would be in for sure. Houston would probably be out and Cincinnati would definitely be out.

With the dearth of quality wins OOC, Houston and Cincinnati probably need 2 wins against us and Wichita to get in, unless they run the table against everyone else.

Exactly. You gotta have context. If you're going to make macro statements, you can't just be a micro viewer.

KenPom (never to be confused with a fan of the AAC)
25 - Wichita
30 - Houston
40 - Memphis
43 - Cincy

NET
9 - Wichita
23 - Memphis
49 - Houston
64 - Cincy

Sagarin
17 - Wichita
24 - Memphis
26 - Houston
41 - Cincy

Safe to say all services would have 3 teams in right now. Last year, only 7 KenPom teams in his top 50 didn't make the NCAA. So Cincy is a bubble for him and Sagarin.
