New offensive line coach
Jim Bridge is named new offensive line coach. He was at Duke for the last four seasons and he was the offensive line coach for them the last two seasons. They ranked 5th in the ACC for sacks allowed and 15th nationally in tackles for loss last season. They were 69th nationally in run blocking despite starting two freshmen at both tackle positions.

15th nationally preventing tackles for a loss is easier for me to understand.

RE: New offensive line coach
Whether or not Duke’s o-line was good last year, this guy has had a long and successful career at multiple Power 5 schools. He is a winner and an excellent hire.

Silverfield is putting together a dynamic staff.
