Heavily dependent on the seriousness of Erica's injury. The fact that it's been radio silence on the subject for the last 60 hours is not a good omen. We also need Nancy to get healthy and return to last year's second half dominance.

Still no word on Erica's injury, but today's Thresher article includes quotes from both Erica and Langley following this past weekend's games....one would think if the injury was serious it would have been mentioned...

She's been posting on Instragram. No indication that the injury was serious.

I went back and looked at the Power 5 teams we played and lost to. They all have winning records but seems like Georgia Tech and Texas A&M will be Tournament bound so far.

Texas A&M - Ranked 4
Oklahome State - 10-5 Wins over some Power 5 teams but no teams ranked in the Top 25.
Virginia Tech - 12-4 Wins over some Power 5 teams but no teams ranked in the Top 25
Georgia Tech - 13-3 (Beat No 11 Florida State, Georgia, Virginia, Miami, and Clemson)

What bothers me is that a few days ago Baylor beat Oklahoma State 94-48, and earlier this season OSU beat us 69-38.

Yes that was a bad loss against Ok State and also SMU. We prob have to win The conference and the tournament to go to the NCAA tournament.

No probably about it. We HAVE to win the conference tournament to get the automatic bid. That's the only way we'll get into the NCAA tourney.

Crap happens, but I’m bugged more by the two close ones that got away (A&M, GaTech) than the blowouts.

Win those two and we’d be in the at-large convo.

Win another 14 conference games and we might yet be back in that convo...

Either way I think we’re in good shape to return to NCAAs
