Nobody from the mw was ever coming to the aac. That ship sailed when we added eastern schools instead of travel partners for Boise st and SDSU. That was the time to kill the mw off and we didn’t. Now they have a tv deal that is very comparable to ours when you add in our expenses and the fact they still own t3 rights. Plus they get to renegotiate when we are halfway through our deal. After 12 years I would not be surprised at all if they earn more dollars per school than we do.

you realize the mwc has 70% basketball games and 30% of the football games are unnaccounted for by this tv deal

according to craig thmpson yesterday they are going to look for an online partner for the tier 3 rights that could be behind a pay wall..

some of their tier 2 football games will be behind a cbs online only paywall (cbs all-access)

7 and 3.5 mil arent comparable..t3 rights dont sell for that much...especially when the likely buyer will be someone like stadium (facebook)

The contract is set up boise could get all 10 slots and is contractually obligated to 6

Our deal isn’t 7 when production costs come into play and you have no idea what they will get for their t3 rights. They will also be able to sign a new deal in 6 years. Who knows what will happen but I would not be upset at all with their deal. All the Boise rhetoric is tiring, they left. Get over it.

ECU's ad already said the estimated production costs are around 300k total

a conference has 75 football games and 200 basketball game...their deal says 50 football games will be fs2 and cbssn, 20 online....basketball has 120 online, 50 on fs2 or cbssn

our tier 3 is on espn+..their tier 2 is on fs2
the games they have on fs2 and cbssn, will be on espn2 and espnu for the aac

espn+ is the also the fastest growing sports network in the world ..fs2 is fs2

Aresco is a weak commish, our ADs and University presidents are the ones pulling the conference.
Aresco didn't speak up for UCF or the conference when we were publically getting crapped on for playing "high school teams" (that's our conference).
Then doesn't back the NCAA recognized natty claim.
Then doesn't speak up for UCF AGAIN when everyones crapping on our conference.

Not to mention he leaked and likely blew up UCF's home & home w/ Arizona State.
