I’m gonna predict this team finishes .500 and we lose in the first round of the NCHC tourney to Duluth or Denver, we won’t get home ice

So, they're going to finish 6th or 7th in the NCHC? I don't see that happening. They're in 4th right now. The schedule gets way easier & they have a healthy roster.

While I agree we should expect that we will finish stronger than we started. We are only 4 points out of last place, (in fact we are closer to last place then 3rd place)....so...

i'm not really concerned with were we finish in the NCHC so long as we are in the top 4 . i am telling ya all you have to do is get to the dance and you never know what will happen . i'm more concerned with the pairwise and we need to start picking away starting this weekend .

This team hasnt shown me otherwise, I hate to say it, but maybe besides RPI, CC, SCSU, Miami, may be all splits.

If we sweep CC this weekend and SCSU next weekend, I will be confident about this team, but until then, I do not have high hopes.

At this point unless we go on a massive run, we will likely have to win the NCHC tourney to get to the dance.

Final 16 games

Home vs CC
Home vs SCSU
At Omaha
Home vs RPI
At Miami

As Broncominor said, we gotta go 8-2, 9-1 in these games. With the amount of firepower and potential this team has, its possible, but the way we have been playing, im not seeing it.

Then we get Duluth at home and then Nodak on the road, absolutely gotta get a split out of those series to gain some ground on pairwise, maybe even a sweep in there.

Then we finish with Miami at home, must sweep.

16 games left, 10 at Lawson, have to take advantage.

The team is certainly capable of going 9-1, 8-2 in those games.

While I don't see that happening, however, I don't think there's any reason to believe this team can't finish 4th in the NCHC.
