Honestly.. If Trump's re-elected, Baldwin doing his impression will soon run it's course.

I will gladly take 5 more years of impressions at this point. Simply put, he ain't doing them if Trump Ain't President.

I have to say, the guy can act, I hate most of his political views, but I do enjoy him on film.
I wish these f-ing people would just Shut and Dribble, Shut up and Act, Shut up and Sing, Shut up and get me a drink, and in general just STFU!

He would be wise to listen to Ricky Gervais' opening Golden Globes monologue.

RE: Alec Baldwin blasts Trump supporters, saying they've caused 'colossal destruction'
I think the STFU comment is unnecessarily provocative... I get the sentiment, but I think it implies something not intended.
They're free to say and believe whatever they like. As they are afforded much more publicity than others, I think it is actually incumbent upon US to simply ignore their political views... unless one believes that these people have some specific knowledge or insight or a better perspective on things than others... which by and large they do not.
I don't want them to STFU. I do want them to not use their popularity in one arena as some sort of proxy for intelligence or being better informed than others.
By and large, they are part of/benefactors of the wealth gap problem, the sexism and racism problem, the 'indoctrination' by big corporations and the media, the disconnect between the rich and poor etc etc etc. CERTAINLY the excess carbon and the exploitation of poor places and people
But that doesn't mean that are bad people or wrong in their beliefs. It certainly doesn't mean they aren't entitled to them.
Alec Baldwin first promised to leave the country if Bush was elected.... He then made millions by spoofing him on SNL. He also can probably do a pretty good Donald Trump impression... so yeah, he's just extending his career.

The problem is that these celebrities cannot help themselves, because they are very self important... why would they not think that way when people kiss their asses up and down 24/7.
Worse still, you cannot help those lemmings who are dumb enough to give these people credit for being smarter then they actually are.... They don't need that "influence".... and therefore these celebrities should in fact STFU.

He’s now more famous for calling his daughter a #^*+%** and hating Trump than he is for anything else he’s done.

My very left uncle from Massachusetts told our family over Xmas that as much as doesn't care for the Trump, he's experiencing his highest ever returns in the market. Told us he has no choice but to vote to re-elect in November.
He is far from alone. Economy is dope as hell.

My strong belief is that a very large number of people that tell you to your face that they can't stand President Trump and won't vote for him, but when they get in that voting booth and they think about how well they are doing these days financially, remember their mortgage, kids to raise and educate, 401k's for retirement that are exploding, they will pull that lever for Trump. They will then walk out and tell everyone they voted Democratic.

Alec Baldwin blasts Trump supporters, saying they've caused 'colossal destruction'
This writer had the same thought as I did....
Guy Who Called Daughter a 'Thoughtless Pig' Blames Trump Voters for 'Near Moral Collapse' of America
Quote:Ah, Hollywood is at it yet again. This time, we've got Alec Baldwin blaming Trump voters for supposedly bringing American "near moral collapse" because, well, they voted for the guy. This makes them accomplices to evil. Or something.
On Monday, Baldwin took to Twitter via his foundation's account in order to go after all those who voted for then-candidate Donald Trump back in 2016. "American democracy has always been a struggle between the misaligned protections of specific freedoms and a raging, at times intoxicating, 12 cylinder economy," he wrote. "It demanded vigilant/consistent regulation, compassion for the disenfranchised, and the periodic display of a necessary sacrifice that allowed for the long term health of our society at the expense of short term whims," he went on to blabber.
"The desecration of those ideals and the near moral collapse of this country falls squarely in the lap of Trump’s supporters, as opposed to Trump himself, who is merely what psychology labels the ‘objective negative function.' Like fire, floods and earthquakes, it destroys, and only destroys, by its very nature. Without prejudice," he added.
And so, he concluded, "It is Trump voters, particularly those who would re-elect him who bear the blame. For the undeniable and colossal destruction of everything that matters to us as Americans that cannot be merely monetized."
That's rather rich coming from a guy who made international headlines a few years ago for calling his own daughter a "rude, thoughtless pig" during an angry rant he left on her answering machine.
"You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being," he told daughter Ireland. I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. Once again I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."
The reason he got so incredibly angry with her? She didn't answer him when he called her.
Now, that very same guy -- who treated his own daughter like sh*t -- is lecturing normal people who voted for Trump in 2016 (and who may vote again for him in 2020) about morality? Give me a break.
