I was wrong. Bennett came out at the 12min media timeout and they put their 7footer on the floor.

I rewatched some of the stadium broadast.

He just kinda lumbers from one end to the other.

They pulled him for #50 in the first half. By the first time out of each half he was sweating profusely and walking the court.

I think he outweighs Gueye and Pearson, combined. Gueye was a skinny force last night.

#1 Kinsey was very impressive. He has the body of TSG but jumps like Torrey Ward. Great mid range shooter, Made alot of string music from the elbow and FT line.

he gonna be a handful if we have to pod play in Huntington. some of the Marshall players and our players were extra chippy last night.

Two good wins at home. Defense is impressive, but still need to find more ways to score. Relying so heavily on defense leaves little margin for error and means we're likely going to find ourselves in close games most nights. I liked that we seem to push the tempo in transition a little more over the home stand. When we struggle to score in the half-court, we need easy points from fast break layups.

I like the faster tempo. I think it suits our personnel better and will result in more free throws opportunities. However, we do need to improve our free throw percentage.

Need to reduce TOs, too. I would guess we a very near the bottom in CUSA in that category.

Only UTEP is slightly worse.

Yeah somehow we managed to win a game with 1 assist and 20 turnovers.

Staying away is the worst thing we can do. At a school like UAB it only hurts and helps make the situation worse. Yea I realize it’s your money and you can spend it how you want. We are not a power program where we can absorb the losses. It hurts the program. There are better ways to send a message you want the coach gone.

There is no "good way" to send such a message about changing coaches. Most fans just want a change without any idea about how to hire one who is better. I remember when posters said "anyone would be better than Callaway" and we got McGee. For a time many were happy with McGee because he told them what they wanted to be told -- "UAB can win with the facilities it has and with the players already here". After going 5-19, they were not still happy with him and were glad he moved on.
