RE: 2020 MLS Superdraft
How is it going to work when Charlotte has a team? Do we just get the scraps? Any shot at a competitive roster in year 1?

The 2 expansion teams had the top two picks.

RE: 2020 MLS Superdraft
I still have no idea why MLS still does a draft, it just doesn't make sense for the sport.

But good for Temple's keeper. I've heard he has some holes in his game, but who doesn't who's playing college soccer at 22. He's massive though, maybe that'll take him somewhere.

Really depends on how the ownership approaches building a team. You can look back at recent entrants and see both feast and famine.

Yep, didn't Miami get the first pick this draft?

Draft won’t determine their success, who they can sign from other clubs and as free agents will. Anybody getting drafted probably isn’t going to play much for any club.

It’s not gonna be the draft that determines how good of a team they have. If they want a Atlanta-like experience, they’re going to have to hit up England, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Mexico, Chile, Panama, Argentina, Costa Rica, etc. They’re also going to have to get some hardened MLS vets.
