If you are referring to Organisation, that is how it is spelled in the UK.

I was referring to the sentence I quoted. I don't know how Yoda spells Organisation.

It makes me wonder if the Iranians needed us to take him out so that they could feign outrage to cover the house cleaning to get the radicalized elements out of the country to prevent further destruction, regulate trade, and establish order.

It will be interesting to watch and what we do with trade restrictions will be the tell.

I doubt they did that. I'm thinking more along the lines of Soleimani was starting to read his own press clippings and got too big for his britches and posing a threat to Khamenei. I would imagine that much like many in his position he started to build his own cult of personality, people who were loyal to the late general more so than the Supreme Leader.

The attack on the embassy was Soleimani's idea, very likely happened either without clearance from Tehran or in direct contradiction of their wishes. He likely would have faced consequences, but the US strike did Iran's dirty work for them. They had to do something to save face, but did everything in their power to ensure that it wouldn't escalate things hence the warnings prior to the strikes.

Now they are eliminating those whose loyalties are in question to consolidate power.
