To quote Sgt. Hulka, I gotta helluva sense of humor. A UCF fan starting a thread about USF attendance is an example of straight up obsession, not a joke.

USFFan

What this is is a "Straight up" post about the repetitive nature of stupid threads on the board. It is not a thread about USF attendance. that I have to explain this to you really does show, you have no sense of humor.

Hmmmm.. did you notice that nobody is actually talking about USF in this thread.. That is because IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU. So move on.

Can we have another thread where people post moronic expansion targets that won’t ever happen? Haven’t had one of those in seconds.

Why Can't Rice just buy their way into the AAC. They have a 6.3 Billion dollar endowment. Everyone has their price

That would be like cashing in your 401(k) to play golf with Tonya Harding.

2) If the AAC doesn't start the process by Jan. 1, 2021, will they be able to lock in a 12th FB school in time to reschedule the 2022 FB season before the two-year waiver expires?

3) If they do start working on a short list, will they announce it publicly, or will we all be kept in the dark for the next 18-24 months until the new member(s) are announced?
ODU is the best choice for the UConn replacement.
Don't settle for App State (an upcountry dead end), or Georgia State a program perpetually lost in the fumes of UGA, Tech, Falcons, Hawks, Braves ect

ODU finally got rid of Bobby Wilder & staff .
Ricky Rahne is putting together a great staff.
The Southern Mid Atlantic (metro Philly to North Carolina) is packed with talent, and the tidewater is desperate for sports entertainment.

Marshall can play, no doubt about it, however they're a demographic nightmare.
I hope Aresco takes his time before announcing the replacement. ODU has the growing population base, amazing home grown & regional talent in both football & men's basketball. It is a flipping no brainer & I am not an ODU fan.
If ODU gets the invite, you will see a transformation of a program like you've never seen before.
I am a fan of Tulane. We've made our own progress since joining the AAC, but I don't see another program with more upside than ODU. They will own a large mid atlantic market by default. They will enjoy remarkable talent in their back yard while they reach out to 25+ million in the mid-atlantic and mid-south.
They can potentially be what Penn State was, a recruiting vacuum that sucked all of the talent from the eastern states into a town without any competition for entertainment options. Did I mention the Atlantic Fleet is stationed there?
No brainer.

You are right on, which means ridicule and deceit will ensue. ODU and VCU have a nice rivalry too, dating from their CAA days.
