NCHC Pairwise Rankings Week of 1/6/20
After a lot of down time for the holidays it's time for a new update. As WMU fans this is not a welcome update.

1. NoDak (No Change)
4. Denver (No Change)
10. Duluth ( Up 4 )
26. Col College ( Down 1 )
30. WMU ( Down 7 )
34. Omaha ( Down 2 )
44. Miami ( Up 5 )
45 St. Cloud ( UP 5 )

The league is starting to seperate, and solidify.
NoDak, and Denver can punch their tickets without a collapse.
Duluth has shown it's good enough for the tourney, but needs to keep up the current pace, or they could miss out.
CC, WMU, and Omaha, have shown flashes but nowhere close to the consistency to believe they are tourney teams.
Miami and St. Cloud are looking to finish strong to build towards next year.

NCHC standings wise, we're holding steady. If we can nab 4th or 3rd place, or win a round or 2 of the NCHC Tourney, that'd help save the season. Unlikely this is a National Tournament team, but still lot to play for.

Miami and St Cloud being in the mid 40s (after both moving up 5) is pretty pathetic.

What do we need to do to make the Tourney at this point? Win more than 3/4 of remaining games, plus get some help?

Looks like last year's team was 21-15-1. At 7-8-3 this year, probably need to go 14-3-1 or something to have a prayer. Yikes! If my math is correct, I'd recommend shutting down these threads until we're a Tourney lock again, whatever year that might be.

Not quite that good. But it will require us to get some quality wins mixed in there. 2-0 or 1-0-1 this week is really needed. If we walkout worse than that, then we are talking a massive undertaking like you describe.

A sweep this week will put us really close to 20 again.

1-0-1 this weekend will get us probably to 24 or so.
