Too bad they always have to show signs of life once they get into conference play and drag everyone else down. Can't talk too much smack though as we didn't do a gpod job carrying the flag out of conference this year either.

The league is mediocre at best this year. UC needs to get their act together take advantage. I notice on these national broadcasts, UC has already been written off.

I tend to disagree top to bottom I think the league is stronger than last year. Maybe not to national talking heads who tend to say almost everyone in Big Ten and Big East is NCAA worthy!

Yuppo. The league is more competitive overall this year, and in particular, the bottom tier teams. No road victory will be easy pickens. Here's the thing, outside of Wichy the league crown is open season. We. Are. Right. There. In. It.

The bottom is improved (it really couldn't get much worse), But the top is not near as good as the last couple of years.

Does anyone look as good as Houston last year, or UC and Wichita the year before? The league has compressed - bunch of middling teams.

Who has anyone beaten OOC? UC and Memphis' wins over Tennessee are the best wins I can find.

League has roughly the same (slightly better) kenpom numbers this year. It's deeper. Top teams aren't quite as good. At least as of right now.

The league is mainly Q1 and Q2 win chances as most of the teams are like 50-110 in NET, outside of ECU. So lots of chances for quality wins and helping each other out. You really can't take a night off in the league.

Definitely agree that taking a night off could keep a team from a quality seed in the NIT.

With a minute to go, UConn was down 9 at home to Wichita and has taken it to OT.

Welp, Wichita survives, gutting it out in double OT.

Absolutely brutal game in terms of referees. Couple bad calls against UCONN, then a bunch of make up calls. The game was all whistles last minute and overtime. Didn't let the boys play ball.

The officials calling games in this conference do such a terrible job.

Dicky V doing the Memphis- USF game. When was the last time he did one of our games? Maybe Marquette in Logans Senior year?
