Show #3 is 100% travel to Portland, Wiseman discussion, OU game preparation, and then a quick blurb summarizing the game

Wonder why they waited three plus weeks to release that

Nothing that happened in the last near month was part of it. Nothing at all

If released three weeks ago this would have been timely. As of today, it was dated

RE: ESPN+ The Harder Way
The UT game was on ESPN. The documentary is on ESPN+. I have a hard time believing they had access problems that weren't of their own making. I've heard from reliable sources that the production crew itself is having problems. The third episode was very disappointing and confirms as much. Runtime was < 15 mins. Not much content there. Everything shot was in the lead up to the Oregon game.

The series is ostensibly about Penny, and him trying to get kids to the NBA.

Despite Weisman's absence, there's no reason this can't be a great story if they do their job right. That doesn't appear to be happening.

I was disappointed in the 15 minute segments.

RE: ESPN+ The Harder Way
Having watched episode 3, I am 100% sure I was right(again) about why it had not aired.

They were hoping for a Wiseman comeback to really set the show off.

Didn't happen, they didn't know what to put out next.

Thus, we get an Oregon reboot a few weeks late.

For me, I wonder if it is a great idea to remind the NCAA that Memphis, despite being warned, played an ineligible player to spite the NCAA.

Now, I do wonder if the theory I heard may come into fruition.

Sure hope not but why keep poking the bear?

Surprised how bad they let them eat. Nutrition should be a high priority for a D1 athlete. No wonder they get sick

I thought the same but how many Memphis players aside from Supreme Bae get up in the morning and eat berries and fruit.

Bacon and eggs is probably a few notches higher than a pop tart, a donut, or a bowl of crunchberries.

Breakfast has to be the hardest meal make healthy choices.

I think we can drop the Supreme Bae alias now.
He referred to himself as Chris when he was in town recently.

Just dropped ESPN+ and HULU(Ads)

They sucked.

Kept DISNEY+ which I initially signed up for like a year before it came out.

Three Penny episodes in two months for ESPN?

Do better.

I may pick it back up one more month to watch the 4th episode but I will regret it based on principle alone.

RE: ESPN+ The Harder Way
While I'm glad that there's such a show it seems to be it could have been done much better. It's basically just setting up a camera crew and following Penny, the coaches and the team around for 15 minutes. There are some parts where individuals are speaking to the camera but it doesn't appear as if anyone is asking questions. And just when it starts to get interesting it's over. But, I'm still glad it's on.

Didn't you tell us 100% that they were backing out of the series because they knew sanctions were coming? Then I'm surprised we even got an episode #4.

My son loves it, but the only thing I watch on ESPN+ is the Harder Way and some of the UFC stuff. I will watch the Peyton's Place with Tom Brady, but that's all of that big forehead I can take. The real reason I got it was I thought they might show some university non-revenue sports, but I haven't found anything yet. Was the ladies game with UConn on the other night?

Now, now. I don't, but most say you are - so don't go throwing stones.

I heard the rumors about cancelling the show too, like you claimed. I just didn't buy them.

Here's something to make you fell better.

The show was supposed to document the number one player in next year's draft on his way to win a NCAA National Chsampionship.

They now realize that Wiseman is gone and we will get hit with sanctions so they are backing out.

I just think that without the expected Wiseman return, they are left without many options as a next in series.
