Do you have any understanding at all that Iran attacked our embassy in Baghdad, and the dude we just killed coordinated that attack? Not to mention he is responsible for hundreds of US deaths around the world.

So how the hell do WE start WWIII?

This has to be the dumbest post in the history of the internet.

Only a freaking idiot could not see this as a great day...

The president just ordered a strike that killed one (actually a few) of the worlds deadliest terrorist . David St is going off the deep end. Did you get that opinion from the view?

At what point do we let the ME fight their own wars? While I’m not bothered he died, this creates more headaches we don’t need. Between W and Obama we ****** up enough recently we don’t need this. Wag the ******* dog...worked for the last 2...

lol....all those countries together have a whopping total of 2 aircraft carriers (assuming the smoke belching Russian carrier is fully repaired and the Chinese carrier is completely combat operational). Both of those carriers are small carriers that operate maybe 20-25 aircraft each.

The US has 10 super carriers that operate about 80-90 aircraft each and another 10 Amphips that can be outfitted as "Lighting Carriers" each supporting 25 F-35's. The Russians and Chinese are going to want nothing to do with this.

FYI---the last time Iran took on our Navy the score was 1 Iranian frigate sunk, one Iranian frigate crippled, 1 Iranian gunboat sunk, 3 Iranian speed boats sunk, and an Iranian fighter jet damaged and forced down. The only US casualties (2) occurred when a US helicopter crashed during the engagement. We'll be fine regardless of who does or does not join our side. That said, the Brits will almost certainly line up with us (they always do). The Aussies and several Middle Eastern nations would join us.....

Yeah right. We orchestrated the attack on our own embassy by asking this terrorist to carry it out and then blew him back to hell just to wag the dog. SMH....

I love Trump. It’s good to see us no longer a stooge of Russia and Iran.

I kind of feel sorry for David. It’s hard to go through life clueless.

He was the point man in turning the tide in Syria for their team and now was on the ground working on Iraq.

We just permanently took the most important piece of Iran’s military/political complex off of the game board.

There's plenty of reasons for thinking that our invasion of Iraq was a bad idea, or at least poorly implemented. But there's never been any suggestion that our intention was to annex Iraq as a fully controlled U.S. territory.

We don't do an adequate job of tracking the movements of some very bad people within our own borders. It is not a reasonable criticism of our Iraq policies to say that we are not maintaining control of who they allow to enter into their own country.

This has to be the dumbest post in the history of the internet.

He was the head of the Quds Force, a group of really nice folks that has been listed as a terrorist organization for 12 years by the USA during 3 presidential administrations and has since been listed as such by countries like Canada, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc...dude was the Islamic Heinrich Himmler and has been a high yield target for years.

Liberals are passing around their NPC talking points. Must be a day that ends in the letter Y.

I don't think China would have the stomach to see a war in the ME. On the one hand, maybe China could be given some assurances that Iran would sole source China's petroleum needs. However, the instability and the likelihood of Iran experiencing repeated and heavy damage to their energy producing infrastructure would put the Chinese on their knees IMHO.

There won't be a WW3 because of Iran losing their terrorist general. The oil is too important.
