This is a game we should win going away. I could see is struggling a bit in the first half (just because it’s NU), and pulling away in the 2nd.

RE: Elon
Two of Elon's players were Rookie of the Week selections earlier this year....Woods and McIntosh.

RE: Elon
That was a little too close for comfort, but a win is a win.

Tyson would not let NU lose dropping 32 on the Phoenix.

Murphy still being out is starting to catch up to us.

NU better step it up Saturday after the way W&M beat down Hofstra!

Highlights ...

RE: Elon
I LOVED that when Elon got close Tyson took matters in his own hands and scored nine straight.

Looks like the W&M blowout was great shooting by them and lousy Hofstra shooting. Most other stats were about even. Let's see if they come down to earth on Saturday.

BTW, tonight's Illinois-Michigan State game has Alex Faust doing the play-by-play with Bill Raftery on FS1.

The kid so talented and getting tremendous opportunities!

RE: Elon
Tyson Walker, cant say enough about him.

What's up with Eboigbodin? Why did he only play 3 minutes?

From what I can see, he has trouble scoring. So NU would be playing 4 on 5 most nights with him on the floor for long stretches. Plus Max, although shorter, gives us more offensively.

I don't really agree with the concept, but I kind of understand.

Plus who knows if he's 100-percent from his knee issue.

Eboigbodin doesn't shoot much, but he shoots well when he does, he's a great rebounder, and he has a good assist/turnover for a forward. Of the top 21 rebounders in the CAA (which is 21 because he's tied for 20th), he ranks fifth with 0.306 rebounds per minute. He gets more rebounds per minute than Justyn Mutts, who averages 9.5 per game. I'm not qualified to criticize Coen, but Eboigbodin's statistics look like he's worthy of playing time. If anything, you should try to get him involved by shooting more.

There are 353 teams, and 11 players have played in at least 75 percent of their team's games and are averaging at least 2 threes made, at least 6 rebounds, and at least 2 assists. Brace is one of them.

RE: Elon
Going from seventeen minutes per game to three....I think it has something to do with the knee...hopefully mostly precautionary.

E is the better rebounder but Max brings a lot to the table, too. For one thing, he has an outside shot. E doesn't. I think our offense works better with four outside threats (it worked for us last year, anyway) so with Walters getting so many minutes (also not a three point threat) we would be down to three when E is on the court with him.
